O MUZE! is the ninth exhibition in the De Hallen Haarlem Summer Series, curated by Antoon Erftemeijer in collaboration with Marie Stel, Lex ter Braak and museum director Ann Demeester. There have been many muses in Dutch art history. O MUZE! assembles art works that illuminate different sources of inspiration: lovers, nude models, colleagues, writers, biblical figures, doppelgängers and stars of the stage.

Caspar Berger’s work Maria with Child (2007) will feature in the exhibition, which will be accompanied by an extensively illustrated catalogue.
