Torso / Self-portrait 6 has several versions, with the full name not emerging until the place is known where the sculpture is established. Thus, in 2009, a cast of the Torso / Self-portrait 6 was erected in the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen as Torso ZZM / Self-portrait 6 and in 2016 the Torso RM / Self-portrait 6 in the gardens of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. The third was poored in 2021 and erected as Torso NUMA / Self-portrait 6 in the gardens of Fundació NUMA, Espais de Cultura, Menorca, Spain

Fragmented image
The Torso Belvedere is known in art history as the symbol of classical sculpture. This image has been part of the collection of the Vatican Museums since the early 16th century. The head, arms and lower legs are missing and it is precisely because of this fragmentation that many were very impressed by this sculpture.

Artist, artwork and art tradition in one image
In Milan, I bought an exact plaster copy of this fragment and and embraced it with a silicone copy of my own skin. This was then cast in bronze and fused into a whole. I thus became part of of art history. Because you are not only what you eat, but also what you see
